Pendant-Lamp, a unique lightweight lamp, was conceived by an optometrist for people who need additional illumination for close up work or reading. Not only is Pendant-Lamp a help for those with eye difficulties, but it is a real pleasure for anyone to use, in home, shop, quilting, or knitting.
The Pendant-Light's soft, pleasing illumination comes from a long- lived miniature fluorescent tube. It fits comfortably on front of the body, where motion does not affect its cool, diffused light. An adjustable nylon strap, worn around the neck, positions Pendant-Lamp properly, and the adjustable shade keeps glare from the eyes. Light is projected from the front at work level, preventing annoying hand shadows often caused by side or overhead lighting. The lamp is electric, so no batteries to replace.
